Today, September 11, the world remembers one of the most painful and shocking days in modern history. On September 11, 2001, the United States of America was struck by a terrorist attack that claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people and shook the conscience of the entire world.
Radio Nacional of Albania expresses its deepest respect today for the victims, their families, the heroes who lost their lives while trying to save others, and the American people.
We do not forget.
September 11 is not only an American date. It is a reminder to the entire world that freedom, peace, and security require perseverance, cooperation, and unity.
The United States has been and remains one of Albania’s most important strategic partners. The Albanian-American alliance has been built over the years on shared values: democracy, freedom, the rule of law, security, and respect for human dignity.
On this day of remembrance, Radio Nacional reaffirms its support and friendship for the United States of America and the American people.
We believe that terrorism and extremism have no place in a world seeking peace and development. In the face of every form of political or terrorist violence, the response of democracies must be greater cooperation, greater justice, and stronger protection of human freedoms.
From Albania, a country that knows the value of freedom and has built its relationship with the United States on friendship and alliance, Radio Nacional sends a clear message today:
America, we stand with you.
We stand with the families who lost their loved ones.
We stand with those who sacrificed their lives to save others.
We stand with democracy against terrorism.
We stand with freedom against fear.
We stand with peace against violence.
September 11 reminds us that in the face of great tragedies, humanity must come together, not be divided.
