“National Assault”: Time to Rebuild Albania
Written by Flamur Bucpapaj
Nacional.al will soon address the people to collect the necessary signatures to establish the people’s party called “National Assault.” Why now, and why are we turning to the people for signatures? Seeing that our popularity as Nacional.al has reached its peak with 9 million clicks per month, and observing the attention that Albanians give to our channels, we decided to take this step. This is not an ordinary political moment. This is a historic and moral moment because Albania is disappearing as a nation, being abandoned by its youth, and very soon it may be left without Albanians.
The massive emigration of Albanians, corruption that has become law, and the same political class since the 1990s continuing to steal everything – this is the harsh reality we face every day. It is shameful to see how some ordinary individuals, without education, without homeland, and sometimes even spies for Serbia and Greece, have brought Albania to this state. This wealthy class is nothing other than an oligarchy surviving on the suffering of the people. They are former security officers who have taken and continue to take everything – every kind of job, every tender – spreading from Valbona to our beautiful coast.
Albania has lost its potential. We have destroyed industry: the Albanian Riviera has been ruined, the oil processing and superphosphate fertilizer plants have been destroyed, and production in Rubik and other areas has been blocked. We are producers of natural resources such as gold, silver, and oil, yet we have no real income from these. We have no agriculture because we must import everything from abroad. We produce nothing. In just one month, over 600 million euros go out of Albania for imports because import oligarchs do not allow production here. We have no industry and no agriculture because the state does not care about the people or domestic production, by modernizing agriculture and creating collective farms, especially in Myzeqe and Korçë. We do not produce chemical fertilizers, we no longer plant corn and wheat, and we have very little Albanian apple, cherry, or blueberry production, and even the chestnuts of Tropoja are disappearing.
The state controls nothing. Theft does not occur only at the highest levels of political power but also in the financial and commercial system. Banks have abused citizens’ deposits and loans, seizing Albanians’ savings for private interests. Fuels and imports are under the control of monopolies that set prices and restrictions in the market, exploiting every opportunity for illegal enrichment. Every Albanian citizen pays more for fuel and basic products because the oligarchs have created systems that exploit every opportunity for illegal enrichment and market control. This situation is a continuous theft of national resources and the hard work of the citizens.
We only have a few former security officers who have become millionaires from Valbona to Dhërmi. Our education system is in crisis: old and secondary schools risk closing because there are no students and no conditions for schooling. Students travel on foot tens of kilometers to go to school. Albania deeply lacks higher education, functional secondary schools, and universities.
This situation is not only tragic but also dangerous for the future of the nation. Political rotation is impossible. Tenders are monopolized by the same oligarchs. The law is not enforced, but monopolies are linked to power and to the two main parties created from the Party of Labor, which continue to steal and maintain control. The army does not function, agriculture is suffocated, food is uncontrolled and endangers the health of Albanians every day. Forests have disappeared or are polluted, rivers are contaminated with garbage dumped everywhere, and there is no forest planting in cities or villages. Massive unemployment and massive corruption result from the lack of new elites and political rotation. The same people, linked to crime and the former security apparatus, continue to seize every opportunity.
The time has come for retribution, development, and dignity. We have no literature, no culture, no production. RTSH has gone bankrupt, and the last “Rilindas” sing their 40s, enriching themselves without limit, while closing their eyes to reality and quietly taking euros and dollars. Albania needs to regain its dignity. The army must be rebuilt, agriculture revived, the environment cleaned, industry restored, and Albanian film and art developed.
The Albanian people are the force that can change this reality. Only through signatures, support, and active participation can a dignified, safe, and developed Albania be built. The time for change is not tomorrow. The time is now. There is no more room for waiting or compromise. Albania needs justice, development, and dignity.
“National Assault” is not just a party. It is a call that comes from pain and love for Albania. It is a program to rebuild every sector: the army, agriculture, industry, education, culture, the environment, and the economy. It is an opportunity for every Albanian citizen to say “Yes” to their future and to their nation.
Join us, sign for your future and the future of the Albanian nation. We love you, and you love us. You show this every day by watching, listening to, and reading Nacional.al. Every day you make thousands of calls and clicks. Come, let’s unite, as in 1990, to overthrow communism and build an Albania that Albanians deserve
