Happy Holy Easter to all Orthodox believers!

On this great day of the Resurrection, I wish that divine peace, light, and hope fill your hearts and families. Easter is a symbol of new life, faith, and spiritual endurance—a message that has guided Albanians through the centuries.
Today, with humility and pride, we remember our deep roots in Orthodoxy and the great contribution that Albanians have made to the history of Eastern Christianity. From the glorious times of emperors such as Justinian and Anastasius, to outstanding national figures such as Fan Noli, our history is filled with values, sacrifice, and identity.
We also honor the Albanian saints of Orthodoxy who have illuminated the path of faith: Saint Astius of Durrës, Saint Nicodemus of Berat, Saint Angelina, Saint John Vladimir, Saint Cosmas of Kolkondas, and many other martyrs and clergy who have kept faith and spirit alive among Albanians through the centuries.
A special thought and deep respect go to Orthodox Albanians everywhere, especially in Greece and North Macedonia. You are an inseparable part of our nation. Albanian identity is not lost, it does not fade, and it is not altered—it lives in our language, in our traditions, and in our historical consciousness.
Albanians have produced great figures in Orthodoxy, even at the highest levels of the Byzantine Empire. This heritage is proof of our strong roots and our continuity as a nation in the Balkans and Europe.
On this holy day, let us strengthen our faith, preserve our identity, and remain united wherever we are.
